Young, President
Roberta Young, MS, is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and is a member of the Central Coast Human Resources Association (CCHRA) and the Society for Human Resources Management. She has over 20 years of combined experience in Human Resources, Training and Development, and Quality Improvement.
Her experience in healthcare, education and non-profit organizations includes work in quality improvement, customer service training and management of call center training for Kaiser Permanente, Oakland, CA. In education, she has been a Learning Center Director for the University of Phoenix, San Jose; and the Human Resources Director for Spectrum Center, Berkeley, a non public school serving students with behavioral challenges.
She has a passion for talent management. In addition, Roberta has extensive experience with business process improvement, having served as both the leader and facilitator of major improvement efforts including the creation and implementation of a Human Resources Information System.
Roberta has a Masters Degree in Nursing with an emphasis on Training and Development; certificates in Business Administration, UC Berkeley; and Training and Development, American Society of Training and Development.
She has published numerous articles and currently serves on CCHRA Board of Directors and is the Secretary of Choice Home Healthcare Board of Directors. Roberta serves on the Monterey Peninsula College Business Advisory Committee. She is a member of the Monterey Professional Women’s Network.
